VETERANS’ APPOINTMENT TRANSPORTATION / DFW
A clear plan
for your VA visit.
Request non-emergency transportation to a VA appointment in Dallas-Fort Worth, with the vehicle and assistance matched to your needs.
Know the journey
before appointment day.
Whether you are arranging your own ride or helping a veteran in your family, begin with the destination, appointment time, and pickup address. The owner reviews your route and confirms availability before a booking is accepted.
Ask about rides to Dallas VA Medical Center, Garland VA Medical Center, Fort Worth VA Clinic, or the VA clinics in Grand Prairie, Denton, and Plano. Confirm the building, entrance, and appointment location with your care team.
Plan for access and the return ride
The accessible van accommodates up to two wheelchair riders and two riders using walkers. Tell us the wheelchair type and any entrance barriers. One seated guest passenger is allowed per trip. Share whether you need one-way transportation, a return ride, or an ongoing schedule.
Confirm how the trip will be paid for
Private pay is available. For a VA-funded trip, the applicable arrangement and any authorization must be confirmed before booking. A VA appointment alone does not establish payment for a ride with DC Elite. The website’s estimator uses private-pay fares.
Facility names identify destinations, without implying affiliation, endorsement, or a contract with DC Elite Transport. This is non-emergency transportation; for an emergency, call 911.
