APPOINTMENTS & FOLLOW-UP CARE

Medical appointment rides.

Non-emergency van transportation for appointments, follow-up visits and outpatient care across Dallas-Fort Worth. Plan your arrival and the journey home before the trip.

A transportation plan for appointment day.

Share your starting point, destination and appointment check-in time. The owner reviews the route, requested pickup and assistance needs before confirming the ride.

If you use a vehicle seat, describe any boarding assistance or mobility equipment you need. If you remain in your wheelchair during travel, start with wheelchair-accessible transportation so the appropriate setup can be reviewed.

One seated guest passenger is allowed per trip. Include the guest when arranging transportation so the owner can confirm the vehicle setup and guest seating.

What to have ready

  • Pickup and destination addresses, including the clinic or building name
  • Appointment check-in time and preferred pickup time
  • Wheelchair, walker, boarding assistance and guest arrangements
  • One-way travel or the timing needed for a separate return leg

Please share transportation needs without medical records or a diagnosis. DC Elite provides non-emergency transport; this is not emergency care or an ambulance service.

Can I arrange the return ride at the same time?

Yes. Discuss the return when planning the outbound trip. If the appointment's end time is uncertain, tell the owner so a return arrangement can be reviewed. Each pickup needs at least two hours of lead time and owner confirmation.

Is this the right service for an emergency?

DC Elite provides non-emergency transportation, not ambulance service or emergency medical care. Call 911 for a medical emergency.
